Q: How do I care for my new gi?

A: Always wash your gi in cold water and hang to dry.  If you must use a dryer, use a low or no heat setting.  This will increase the life of your gi and minimize shrinkage. Never use chlorine bleach to clean your gi.  This will greatly shorten the life of your gi.

Q: How do I set the color in my blue gi so that it doesn't bleed all over the mat?

A: Before your first wash, soak your gi in the sink or tub with 2 or 3 cups of white vinager and fill the rest with water.  Soak at least 30 minutes.  For all future washes use a color safe detergent to minimize fading.
